- Start Yachting
Absolute beginners course for those with no prior knowledge completed over one weekend. Students are introduced to living onboard a cruising yacht and experiencing helming under sail.
|
|
- Competent Crew
An introduction to cruiser sailing requiring no previous experience completed over 3 weekends or 5 days. The course covers over 100 miles including 4 night hours and by the end of the course students should be competent to crew onboard cruising yachts
|
|
- Day Skipper
Designed to put into practice basic navigation and pilotage knowledge gained on the shorebased course. This combined with boat handling developed during the course provides the knowledge and skills required to be competent, skippering a yacht in familiar waters in daylight hours.

|
- Coastal Skipper
A training week for the more advanced sailor with emphasis on the passage making, pilotage and boat handling on coastal passages. The practical exam can be arranged during the week for those wishing to use the qualification commercially on vessels up to 24m operating within 20 miles of a safe haven.

|
- Yachtmaster Preparation
A week of training in preparation for the external examination for experienced yachtsmen with at least 2500 miles and 4 passages over 60 miles as Skipper or Watch Leader.

- ICC (International Certificate of Competence)
