Based at Hull Marina, a wide range of teaching opportunities exist on the Humber Estuary and the East Coast. Strong tides, heavy concentrations of shipping, commercial docks, drying havens and creeks offer any budding Yachtmaster candidate the opportunity to improve their navigation and pilotage skills, not to mention their boat handling.

Further afield are the Wash Ports and anchorages with their off-lying shoals requiring careful navigation and attention to the weather. To the North, we move into an area of rocks and towering cliffs. 5-Day cruises usually cover these areas. 7 and 14 day cruises offer passages to the East Coast south to Harwich, or a passage to the Netherlands and Fresian Islands. These cruises are more relaxed in their nature with passages suitable for those wishing to gain sea time and an interesting cruise.  Up to 500 miles can be logged and passages of 24 - 36 hours duration.
