Dayskipper

A 5 day course covering chartwork, weather, safety, pilotage, passage planning, GPS/chartplotters.

3 weekends 28/29 Jan 11/12 Feb and 25 Feb 2012 £315

5 Day 5-9 March 2012  £265

Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore

An advanced course in navigation, meteorology, collision regulations and safety.  Students should already have the Dayskipper shorebased before taking the course

Yachtmaster Ocean

An advanced course covering the use of a sextant for sun and star sights, passage planning and routing, world meteorology and GPS

1 Day Radar

A combined practical and theory course for getting the best from radar, understanding how radar works, its limitations and use as an aid for navigation and collision avoidance.  Includes RYA Radar course notes and book

A requirement for any person navigating European inland waterways using an RYA ICC certificate.
